This area used to be a place where we dispelled the foolish rumors put out by Ragnasaur-like anti-NORN groups.  But due to recent developments, the NORN now stand unopposed.  There are no more anti-NORN groups, although there is still a NORN rip-off group (the BUG).  We are currently allies with them.  So, to Collectively express the feelings of the Collective at finally being vindicated, I would like to say:

WOO HOO!

Thank you.  Now, let's move on to more about us.

The NORN were formed around late September of 1997.  They rose to power, took over the world, then the universe, and then all of reality and assimilated it.  (This was in our evil days.)  Eventually, perfection and everything being the same got really boring, so The Old Imperious Leader, 5 of 11, Nornan, and I, along with a few billion drones created a temporal inversion field and traveled back in time to the point at which the NORN went bad and stopped them, err, us.  Whatever.  We changed our ways for the good and changed the assimilation process so that it does not strip away one's identity, and makes the Collective part of them, rather than making them part of the Collective.  It is most agreeable, if you ask the current members.  It isn't suited for all though, we've had some requests for unassimilation and they have been graciously accepted.  Live and let live.  Much better than live and assimilate.  Currently, we are less active than we used to be, due to the fact that the scourge known as real life has attacked us.  Some members are still active and contributing members of the community, and we plan on making more contributions as time goes on, especially in the fledgling Norns in Black branch.  Look for COBs and new species sprite files coming out of there.  If you'd like more information on anything the Collective does, or our political affiliations/views in the Creatures community, don't hesitate to send an e-mail to the below address and ask.  Thank you, and have a nice day.  :)
